The Millbrae Education Foundation (MEF) is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) dedicated to strengthening educational opportunities for every student in the Millbrae School District—one of the lowest-funded districts in San Mateo County. Since 2007, our mission has been simple and urgent: to bridge the funding gap and ensure our TK–8th grade students have access to the programs, specialists, and enrichment they deserve.

Thanks to the generous contributions of family donors and business sponsors, MEF is proud to grant $600,000 to the Millbrae School District this school year.  These funds directly support Middle School music and band instruction, districtwide STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) enrichment, essential PE instruction, and reading specialists for elementary schools —programs that would not be possible without community investment.
