Millbrae Education Foundation joins Silicon Valley Gives on May 3
ADVERTISE YOUR BUSINESS AND HELP US FUND MUSIC AND TECHNOLOGY FOR 2,700 PUBLIC SCHOOLS STUDENTS! For $0 – $1000+, we invite sponsors to support music and technology in our 5 public schools while visibly promoting your business with a 100% tax-deductible sponsorship of the Millbrae Education Foundation through our Silicon Valley Gives & Millbrae Night Out event on May 3.
Matching Grant sponsors will be publicly recognized from San Francisco to San Jose, with major recognition throughout Millbrae and directly to our district families.
On May 3, the Millbrae Education Foundation joins Silicon Valley Gives (a 24-hour regional day of giving sponsored by Microsoft) and businesses all over Millbrae to fund the music and technology programs at Millbrae’s 5 public schools. The big day will include MEF’s Night Out and public performances from our Taylor band students.
BUSINESS OWNERS AND COMMUNITY LEADERS: Become a matching grantor, and your name will be promoted through Silicon Valley Gives, regional media, MEF, in our schools, and all over the City of Millbrae! Find out more. Deadline is April 1.
Last year, MEF was the medium-sized nonprofit with the HIGHEST NUMBER OF INDIVIDUAL DONORS out of 84 participating organizations. Let’s do it again this year, and give our students the best public school education in the Bay Area!
Millbrae Education FoundationMay 3: MEF joins Silicon Valley Gives!
We did it, Millbrae! Because of your support, MEF was on top of the Medium Nonprofit Board all 24 hours of Silicon Valley Gives! Thank you all for your support! Every donation, share, email, time spent hanging posters … EVERY ONE made a difference!
SV Gives: Millbrae Education Foundation won!
Our 305 donors gave $11,660 yesterday, which earned us $10,750 in bonuses and prize money for our schools from Silicon Valley! That’s $22,410 going to work in our schools this September.
Here are the bonuses & prizes Millbrae Education Foundation donors won for our schools in just 24 hours:
Bernard A. Newcomb Foundation Power Hour 12-1pm: $2,500
Power Hour 5-6pm (from anonymous grantor): $2,500
Most Unique Donors (hourly) from Silicon Valley Community Foundation:
The money we earned during that 24 hours is wonderful for our schools, but more than that … our Most Unique Donors award demonstrates that MILLBRAE CARES ABOUT ITS PUBLIC SCHOOLS! Since we are willing to invest in our schools, corporations are more likely to as well. And, we’re going to do this again next year: May 3, 2016.
